Coresat received 30 million RMB Pre-A round of financing

On May 29, Chengdu Coresat Technology Co., Ltd. completed 30 million yuan Pre-A round of financing. This round of financing was led by Shenzhen Venture Capital, followed by Sichuan Venture Capital, Chengdu GaoInvestment, Chengdu Kfu, Sichuan Development, Jiaxing Fenghe and Sichuan Bihong.

On April 20, the National Development and Reform Commission for the first time included satellite Internet into the "new infrastructure" information infrastructure, Coresat as a pioneer in the field of satellite communications, in advance of the layout of technology and industry, seized this historical opportunity, this round of financing funds will be used for satellite Internet ground terminals and chips, satellite Internet of things module research and development.

Founded in March 2015, Coresat is the vice president unit of China's space-based Internet of Things Industry Alliance. The company is positioned as a research and development manufacturer of satellite communication ground terminals and chips, and is determined to become the "Huawei" in the field of satellite communications. The company team has more than 10 years of technical accumulation in the field of satellite communication, and has participated in the construction and terminal research and development of a number of major satellite communication systems, including the Shantong II and Tiantong No. 1 satellite communication systems. At the same time, it has carried out a wide layout in the industry, and established satellite communication demonstration application cooperation with a number of industry head institutions.

The company also took on the research and development of the ground communication module of the satellite Internet of Things constellation "Xingyun Project". At 9:16 on May 12, 2020, at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket successfully launched Xingyun No. 01 and No. 02 into space by means of "one arrow and two satellites". The satellites entered the scheduled orbit and the launch was a complete success. The communication module developed by Coresat will work with the cloud constellation to truly connect everything.
