On June 19, the 2019 "Tianyi Shenjian · Peaceful Xinjiang" China Telecom Northwest Forest Fire Joint emergency communication Drill sponsored by China Telecom Group (Northwest) and Xinjiang Forest Fire Brigade and hosted by China Telecom Xinjiang Company was held in Shuixigou Town, Urumqi County.
The drill site simulates a sudden fire sweeping a forest, the specific fire area is unknown, and the fire spreads rapidly. Xinjiang Forest Fire Brigade launched an emergency plan, but because there was no network coverage between the fire site and the front headquarters, in order to meet the needs of on-site disposal, Xinjiang Forest fire brigade requested Xinjiang Telecom to provide emergency communication support to ensure the smooth progress of disaster relief work.
The exercise was carried out in three stages, including "disaster site information collection", "emergency command network establishment" and "public network communication guarantee".
The main venue of command and dispatch and the sub-venue of the fire simulation site are carried out simultaneously. China Telecom uses satellite, microwave and ground transmission methods, adopts the emergency communication means of combination of wired and wireless, complementary fixed and mobile, and integrated heaven and earth, and realizes the functions of short-wave communication, satellite telephone, video transmission of the disaster scene, and emergency video command system, so as to seamlessly connect the fire scene and command and dispatch. Fully understand the fire situation to ensure the smooth operation of on-site rescue.
